A 911 Call Handler is a Tri Service Role responsible for taking and processing incoming 911 calls to all of the emergency services.

Emergency medical dispatcher - ambulance headquarters (INTERNAL ONLY)
An Emergency Medical Dispatcher (EMD) dispatches Ambulance Service resources to incidents generated by the 911 Call Handlers and ensure that incidents are responded to correctly based on priority.

Emergency Care Assistant - Mirror Park
An Emergency Care Assistant (ECA) responds to Emergency calls ensuring that patients are cared for and when required transported to the best possible place for further care. ECAs support other Ambulance clinicians however their primary responsibility is normally to drive the Ambulance.

Paramedic - Mirror Park (INTERNAL ONLY)
A Paramedic responds to Emergency calls ensuring that patients are cared for and when required transported to the best possible place for further care. Paramedics are independent clinicians and therefore can respond in solo response vehicles and discharge patients on scene when safe to do so. Paramedics will usually be crewed with either an ECA or EMT on an Ambulance to provide assessment, treatment and transport of patients.
