The Ambulance Service has internally updated its Strategic Plan for Q3 and 4 of 2026, this plan sets out the direction of travel for the service and its key objectives.

Key Objectives of the Strategic Plan:

• Aim to deploy 1 Double Crewed Ambulance and 1 Clinical Team Manager on at least 50% of shifts by the end of 2026.

• Maintain 2 Operational Buildings.

• Open new opportunities for recruitment and continious development by opening vacancies in a range of roles.

• Maintain 2 Enhanced Care clinicians along with a Strategic and Tactical command capability.

• Continue to assist other emergency services through medical provision and training.
